Interlibrary Loans
Interlibrary Loans is a service that enables all registered users of the Geoffrey R. Weller Library to obtain materials that are not part of our library collection. The service is free to our primary users: students, faculty and staff.
Interlibrary Loan System Upgrade
Commencing Friday, July 31, 2009 the Interlibrary Loan system has been upgraded. If you experience any problems please contact by e-mail at interlib@unbc.ca
All patrons are required to register for interlibrary loan service.
If you have already registered for Interlibrary Loan Services, you will be able to submit requests directly. Your Interlibrary Loan USER ID is your 14 digit library barcode. Our system will allow you to access book and article request forms, track and review existing ILL requests, and update your profile.
Click the login link below to submit requests or to have your interlibrary loan login/password emailed to your registered email address.
Interlibrary Loan Charges
The following charges apply to all interlibrary loan requests:
| Faculty, Staff, Students | NO CHARGE |
| Alumni | $ 2.00 |
| Community Borrowers | $10.00 |
| Research Affiliate | $10.00 |
| Overdues * | $5.00 per item, per day, no maximum |
| Lost Items * | Replacement cost plus $30 processing fee |
*Unpaid interlibrary loan charges may result in the suspension of all library borrowing privileges.
